Sunday Drive

In our family we love to go on lengthy Sunday drives and see where we end up. This practice has stopped lately due to the insane gas prices, but yesterday we took a drive and ended up at Utah Lake. It was so beautiful and serene and though we tried to get out and explore lots of times, the mosquitoes were so thick that we didn’t dare.

We did find one place to get out and I’ll share those pictures in the next post.

But here’s some of what we saw and enjoyed.

I have these dear friends . I shot her maternity about six months ago and now she and her amazing husband have their lucky Penny. I was so lucky to shoot her again and Penny is beautiful – every bit as beautiful as her parents.

I have this friend. Probably my best. Anyway, she’s up there with the angels in my book. A few weeks ago I took her family’s photos before her son, James left for an LDS Mission to Barcelona. I love this family.

Here’s to you guys — because you have fun. because you are beautiful together. because you, together, are complete.

my friend and fellow photographer, Rebecca Mudrick came out to UT with her family this past month. I felt pretty honored that they asked me to shoot their family. She, her husband and her four boys were up for anything (literally – we met at 6.45am) so we hit Utah Lake with a picnic breakfast and some Krispy Kremes and had lots of fun.

we were cramming a bit cause my cousin, kelsie left two days later to serve a mission for the LDS church in Kirtland OH.

Did I mention it was freeeeeezing outside?? So freezing.
