Something about little kid drawing speaks to me so deeply. Its the honesty and the freedom and the complete rawness of the whole thing I think. My little guy made this for a friend who moved away this past summer. I could wallpaper a room with these drawings.

as it stands right now, this is my life. and, actually this is not even a staged shot. I was in the bathroom, with my camera (yes) and saw this scene and grabbed it. love you, my dear little family. only a couple more months of crazy before january. oh who’m i kidding?

when we were there this past summer, there were HUGE piles of seaweed and HUGE waves. I needed to remember the scenery. little man is not such a big fan of sand… this one is probably one of my favorite pictures ever. huge waves and huge piles of seaweed…
